"In this video, I have inserted takes containing nature and its nuances, the winter contradiction, death and rebirth, like Cleo’s song suggests. I decided not to use the obvious love story between two characters... Instead, my interpretation consists of the "falls" that we are all eventually subject to in a relationship, or in a lifetime. And, of course, it represents the strength necessary in order to stand up, and the fact of never giving up. A skater and her choreography represent the oscillations that someone faces along a loss and a triumphant return and the learnings that come from the experience. Madonna sends her ‘inspiring lights’ to her, something that conveys the messages usually brought by Madonna on her work. 

On the other hand, the skater is a representation of Madonna herself, in her own eternal journey of overcoming and reinvention, every time stronger, wiser and more alive! It is up to everyone to come up with their own their interpretation. Lots of light to everyone, always... " Julio Skov
